2nd Team Vs East Devon 4

North Devon 2nd team were flying high from continously back to back wins and nothing changed today as they won 5-1 against East Devon.
North Devon started brightly, putting huge pressure on East Devon forcing them to make mistakes and winning Penalty corners. The first penalty corner was scored by Simon Allen. Not long after that a well worked play down the right hand side and a great ball in from Man of the Match, Louis Hardy saw North Devon Captain Josh Thorne left unmarked to slap home the second goal. North Devon got their 3rd goal from another Penalty corner. Simon Allen's strike found Robert Wheeler on the back post who deflected it in. 
North Devon scored their 4th goal in the first half with a ball in that the young East Devon keeper didn't deal with the ball fell to Simon Allen who tapped it in from close range. 

The second half saw North Devon defending more than attacking as East Devon pushed players forward and got their consolation goal as the ball rolled across the goal for the East Devon forward to stumble it in.
North Devon found their rhythm again with well worked plays down the right hand side from Louis Hardy and Zach Johnson the 5th goal came from a pin point ball to the back post from Joe Hastie which saw Winger Scott Paddon tap it in. 

With this win it saw North Devon continue their winning run of every game in the league this season. The next game sees North Devon travel to Isca on Saturday the  12th of Febuary.
